2025 Tergar Asia Annual Retreat with Mingyur Rinpoche

In Person Only

About this event

In this ever-changing world, we invite you to go on an inner journey. The 2025 Tergar Asia Annual Retreat, personally guided by Mingyur Rinpoche, will be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Over the course of seven nights and eight days, this meditation retreat offers a chance to settle the mind and learn to connect with your own awareness.

We offer two concurrent programs in this retreat: Joy of Living Levels 1&2, and Path of Liberation Levels 1&2. Participants can choose one of the two programs to attend, not both.

This is the event page for the Path of Living retreat. For the Joy of Liivng retreat, please click here.

Path of Liberation Levels 1&2

The essence of Tergar’s Path of Liberation is the recognition of nature of mind. It constitutes the core of Mingyur Rinpoche's Vajrayana teachings. During this in-person retreat, Rinpoche will introduce the first and second pointing out instructions. Participants will also learn the ngondro and Nectar of the Path practices associated with these levels, and receive the transmissions for practicing both ngondro and Nectar of the Path.

Rinpoche will also offer refuge and bestow the White Tara empowerment at the retreat. An embodiment of enlightened activity, White Tara serves as the principal deity of the Tergar lineage.
