Prayer Requests
Prayers help create the positive conditions needed to fulfill aspirations and remove obstacles that hinder well-being.
As part of their daily practice, Buddhist monks and nuns recite prayers and perform pujas dedicated to the happiness and well-being of all beings. It is also a long-standing tradition for individuals to request prayers for specific people or groups while making an offering.
At Tergar Osel Ling, the home monastery of Mingyur Rinpoche, monks follow a daily schedule of meditation and prayer. You can request prayers for yourself, your loved ones, or anyone in need, including groups and organizations. The recipients do not need to be Buddhist—prayers are offered for all.
