Lamp Offering

The offering of light creates auspicious conditions for dispelling the darkness of ignorance for all beings. It acts as an offering to all buddhas, and helps to manifest innate pure wisdom. When lamp offerings are made for the deceased, it helps to guide them through the bardo state, dispelling darkness on their journey.

At Tergar Osel Ling Monastery, LED lamps are used for offerings. You may sponsor a lamp offering for 49 days, three months, or one year, with donation amounts ranging from HK$120 to HK$400.

All donations directly support the operation of Tergar monasteries and the study and practice of the monastic community. Except for bank and financial processing fees, no administrative costs are deducted.
